Professional Event Planner, Coordinator & Decorator

When you love what you do, it doesn't really feel like work. I’ve always had a passion for organizing and planning, and I believe that every event deserves to be stunning. With this philosophy in mind, I created my business, Event Planning by Annie, after becoming a certified event planner at QC Event School. I also received a certification in Event Decor and have since gained many valuable connections with industry-leading professionals, vendors and venues. I work tirelessly to guarantee my clients' events will be filled with unforgettable moments to create memories that will last a lifetime. 


I started working in the hospitality/customer service industry over 10 years ago. I graduated the University of Nevada, Reno with a major in communication, and a double minor in sociology and cultural anthropology. During my time at the University, I had the opportunity to learn all about how people work, as well as various cultures, interpersonal skills, and conflict negotiation. I am also a trained mediator! I believe that my work and educational background really helps me negotiate for my clients, respect and understand a wide variety of cultures and traditions, keep the peace between everyone involved in the event process, and combine all of these skills together to create your perfect event!

I'll admit, I'm a bit of a workaholic. But when I'm not working, I love to travel (I've been to 18 countries!), walk my dogs, and spend time with my husband.
